Dear Prospective Sponsors,
The vision of my company is to provide an athletic experience that is second to none and to provide opportunities for personal growth and basketball skill development for the youth of tomorrow. My program strives to give each athlete self-esteem and self-confidence in his/her basketball ability. Team work, sportsmanship and leadership skills are at the forefront of my program in an effort to teach life lessons and character development. Learning how to be a leader, handle adversity and how to be a team player are extremely important to me and these life lessons will be reinforced during every practice, training session and game. I want my athletes to be the best they can be.
The summer months offer a great opportunity for student-athletes to sharpen their skills and prepare for the upcoming basketball season. My clinics focus on individual offensive instruction such as ball handling, shooting, one-on-one moves and agility. Last summer I provided instruction to over 500 kids throughout the State of Kansas and had a great time in every city I visit. Putting on a top-notch clinic requires the support of community leaders and organizations. I hope that you’ll join me in helping provide a great summer basketball clinic for the athletes in your city. It is my sincere hope that each athlete that attends my summer clinic will gain the confidence and skills necessary to join a basketball team during the 2008-2009 school year.
The attributes that kids will learn when they commit to a team will be plentiful. Few other endeavors will offer kids the opportunities to learn how to: win and lose gracefully; to lead and follow the lead of others; to work harder than they thought possible; to be humble and generous; to help others as an individual, as a team member and as a competitor and to be disciplined and endure even when they don’t feel like it.
